Your Airsoft Team Ambition And Goals

Airsoft is a game and most participants are in for various reasons. For very, very few, airsoft can be called as profession. There are hardly any competitions because of the very nature of this game. Most airsoft teams want to improve and develop into more "professional" outfits that can boast their skirmish experience. However, as a team member or specially if you are a team leader you got to ask yourself " How far are your teammates ready to go?". If you start strict measures to improve the teams capabilities then you might (depending of the person ambitions) actually reach point where some of the team members start feeling uncomfortable and drop out. So, what is your airsoft team ambition and goals?.

For most teams, the key points for keeping members in active status and attracting more recruits, are:
  • Sufficient frequency of activity (but not too much though..)
  • Team identity (nickname, insignia, gear, etc.)
  • Balancing enjoyment and team duties
Agree team leader

Team leader should be very clearly defined and his or her authority acknowledged by all members. For team leader the responsibility is greatest , so he (she) should deal with many of the problems that will eventually rise during the team's existence. Team leader should be identified by his or her leadership traits, experience in airsoft and willingness to shoulder responsibility.
